@capercorngirl not sure what u mean by that my friend, Kylie had her first hit in 1987 (3 years after madonna's debut) so they are not that far apart, is just that kylie was more UK and madonna of course more US...anywyaas I find it funny that impossible princess and ray of light were released around the same time

@gigistekno Alas, Google and Vevo are in bed together; any revenue gained through Vevo's banner ads like Lady Gaga up there (since some folks are charitable enough and/or dumb enough to click them) gets split between Google and Vevo. And since Google owns YouTube now, the only way for Vevo to get off of YouTube would be if Google and Vevo split up...which, as long as they both get money from this, probably won't happen.

I swear, Google's buy-out was THE worst thing to ever happen to YouTube.
