The NEO is a word processor. Can hold up to 8 files or a max of 200 pages. Battery operated for portability. very useful for writers who don't want distractions of a home computer. Very light weight and thin can travel anywhere. Very useful in the classroom. Teachers can add quizzes and personalize for each student. Connects to home computer or printer with the touch of a button.

my 3rd grade teacher won a contest(im not in third grade) so she had enough money to buy like 40 alphasmarts, and another 40 for her friends class. if it wasn't for alphasmarts...i wouldn't be one of the fastest typers in my school. these things are like getting a gift from god.

Have you heard of the Alphasmart keyboards with a bigger screen? E.g. the 'Dana'?
