Yeah this is a groovie song. I watched her perform some songs from this album on The Best of Soul Train 1978 episode. Yeah Capitol Records should put this album and The Stars and Whispers album on cd. I hope this lovely talented lady isn't unsung. This past Saturday I saw her sister 70's Supreme Scherrie Payne at my job Homegoods. When I told her that I loved and Freda, she was shocked and said is she ever come back she said she'll bring Freda for me. Isn't that cool ?

Listen to her clean, beautiful vocals with great tone. I love Freda Payne's talent, not to mention her flawless beauty. She had the entire complete package,
The only thing that kept Freda from being a major star, was her unwillingness to sleep around with top executives at her labels, and her refusing to play the casting couch game. Which as we all know that kind of success, has been designed for singers of far less talent ( Hi Miss Ross)
