i used to like taxcut/h&r at home crap but can't get it free this year so switched to turbotax. this is the last year i'm preparing and filing. no more.
Intuit is an amazing company. I bought 100 shares in highschool when it was trading at 41.90, before it split 3, and then 2 for 1. One day we will have turboDivorce, turboDiagnosis and turboMergersandAcquisitions. Maybe even turboDMVpaperwork. I can't wait.
With the FairTax, prices will remain pretty much the same, yet you'll have more of your gross income to spend. Costs of production will go down because companies won't have the expense of all the tax lawyers and consultants. Taxes will also go down because the base of tax payers will be broader. Illegals and Criminals will finally contribute to the fed gov. What's more, the dirt poor will be totally "untaxed", without even waiting in lines and completing forms.
Does this program help you fill out past tax forums? Like 3 or 4 years ago?
