Nice tribute to many of the 70's corps, too bad you left out 27th Lancers? as if they were never even there in the 70's : (

These were the days of our lives...PB&J and a dixie cup of milk was considered a good meal--110 degrees on a gym floor in Bellevue IL--We got salt tablets with breakfast---We practiced until the instructors got hot and I wouldn't have traded one single day--The years have passed and miles seperates us, though time it seems, never has-the bonds we forged as teens have lasted our lifetime...FHNSAB---72-73

Good to see all these fine ol school drum corps especially Mighty St. Joe's Of Batavia. Those were some fun days like every thing back then.

I have a thought ,
Why not have OLD SCHOOL Drum Corps as a division and the new stuff in a different one .
In the Old School , YOU MUST USE G/F BUGLES and CARRY EVERYTHING ON THE FILED ... AND YOU MUST CARRY A AMERICAN FLAG as well as a STATE Flag and be Sponsered by a VFW HALL or American Leagion Hall ..
NO SISSY PITS ....
Great to see some Argonne in there. I marched 71-73. Some of the best times of my life. Any more?

'73 Argonne is my all-time favorite show. Does anyone out there know of an available video? Thanks!

Argonne Rebels were absolutely fabulous. Their 1973 show is my all-time favorite. So - are you Dick Diehl, Moe Knox, Jane Boulen?
