The moment beginning at 02:44 in this clip was, imo, the death blow to this movie. Up until this moment, the movie worked well enough (despite the dumb Cobra-La angle), but the "punishment" of Cobra Commander like this was the true game ender. CC was my favorite character, and to see this happen to him ruined what could have been an epic tale. I did enjoy the movie up to the punishment scene, but during and after punishment, it became difficult to care about anything else in the movie. Oh Well.

Or how about the fact that the geniuses of Cobra-La dont give him any of that crazy bio-tech that let their average soldiers just singlehandedly whip half the GI Joe roster with hand-held melee weapons.Cobra Commander became a worldwide threat because he was AWESOME

If you compare CC in the final of the Season 2 and this movie, you see that He was more strategic, machiavelic than the first and more calm. At the end of Season 2 Even Mindbender was tired of Serpentor. They should have restore CC as a leader but well....Now, they use to increase is power with a Humanoid community that change Gi Joe from realistic action TV shows to Sci-Fi.

This movie should be seen as a spin off and not the real GI JOE
