I am a Kannadiga and it makes me very happy to hear any musician render a puradaradasa krithi. I especially love Nithyashree's rendering of Punradaradasa kirthis. She sings them with lot of feeling and bhaavam.

i too liked her way of singing n pronunciation. even though i am not a kannadiga, i am a research scholar 4m kerala doing phd in the songs of purandardasa in a historical perspective as i am a student of history. dasa kritis were very much popularised by the madhwa saints during the vijayanagara period n purandaradasa was the prominent among them. whenever i listen 2 kannada songs i wish 2 learn kannada. will u pls suggest me a way 2 learn kannada?
