The meadow, I think hes referring to the game of hunting females. Hes hurting from a lost love whos moved on and formed a new love. Hence why he says he wish he could be 'special', and a 'star' like you. My view of the song is that uts about picking up on females that are angry with their man, and using that to his advantage, but at the same time...feels hallow about it. I dont know. Thats the beaty of music. It all means different things to everyone.

@shadSHADOTV I think the meaning of this song goes along with the common theme of the album....loneliness, spending to much time at the bar, being fucked up and frustrated, addicted, broken. I've been there a lot in my life and always thought of this song at those points. Don't know if if that's what they meant by it but that's what it means to me.
