I WAS CLASS OF 97 AND PLAYED FOOTBALL PLUS I LIVED IN THE I.E ABOUT 40-45 MINS FROM L.A AND I STILL HEARD ABOUT COTTON. ONE OF MY BOYS IS BARON'S COUSIN SO I KNEW ABOUT HIM. MY POINT IS I DIDN'T PLAY BASKETBALL OR LIVE IN L.A I KNEW WHO COTTON WAS, REALLY WOULD HAVE LIKED TO SEE HIM IN THE LEAGUE. ATHLETES LIKE THIS IN HIGH SCHOOL NO MATTER WHAT SPORT HAVE A LOT OF FUCKING PRESSURE ON THEM, LET THE KIDS PLAY THEN WORRY ABOUT ALL THAT OTHER STUFF IN THERE LATER COLLEGE YEARS.

As a sophomore Cotton was one of the best high school players I've ever seen (and I've seen some of SoCal's greatest.) He didn't pass SAT's or something so he went to prep school and then Alabama for one year. Hard to believe he never made it to the league.
