Alex Chilton - Sakura Con 2009 RB2 Tourney - Less Than Pi (me voxbassing live!)

H2O MrPulsar and I decided to enter the Rock Band 2 Tournament that was taking place at Sakura Con in Seattle this year. Nyx wasn't able to travel up for it so we found a local drummer Willay through ScoreHero: http://www.youtube.com/user/willaydrums
In the end we couldn't get a bassist so I decided to play vocals and bass at the same time. On stage. :o

To enter, all bands first had to play a qualifier. Then they seeded us randomly and had us play band vs. band on two songs (each band choosing one - judges choose tiebreaker if necessary). This was a song we played from Round 1.

Awesome performance. I was the drummer for The Flaming Chickens, one of the three finalist bands of the tournament. You guys definitely had great synergy on the stage, those charts got rocked! I hope to see all of you next year for a neat re-match. ;)

I'll definitely be at Sakura-con next year. I don't go to PAX because it's at the same time as Kumori-con and my girlfriend has an artists alley table there. I also go to Aki-con and Mew-con though. Make sure to dominate at PAX if you guys are in a tourney there.
