While driving along Interstate 70 in St. Louis, I noticed a tractor-trailer rig loaded with large, old vehicles (i.e., Cadillacs and Oldsmobiles) from the late '70s and early '80s. I was convinced that those vehicles had been traded in by people seeking to take advantage of the federal government's "Cash for Clunkers" program.

  • That is not cash for clunkers. If it where, I doubt they would be stacked so clean and be old 60s, 70s, 80s Caddys. They would be piled in a dump truck probably.

  • No, it looks like someone's collection of Cadillacs. All of them are far too old to qualify for the CARS program.
