By the way, I never had issues with changes. The shrimp seemed to be fairly more resilient than expected.

I used salt for my aquarium as well and didn't have any effect. You'll really need to use the treatments.

Kodyman20: of you shrimp is white, i don't think there is anything actually wrong with it. It could actually be due to the water, or additives to your tanks water.

i was going to get them to feed my african cichlids but idk now can i keep them in another tank for a wile to see if they have horsehair worm if so how long do i keep them before feeding them to my fish thx for the vid added 5/5 and subscribed

Horse hair worms are supposed to only infect invertabrates...animals without a backbone. Your fish should be relatively safe and fine. However, you can keep them seperate if you like...would also benefit in ghost shrimp reproduction this way, as not having to buy more later.
