I first heard this song in the movie Natural Born Killers. Such a strange place to find such a sublime piece of music, but as used in the film, it couldn't have been used in a better way. I was riveted by it and spent the rest of the movie thinking about it. The contrast it lent to such a violent and twisted story was spectacular, and I can remember leaving the theater with the mission to find the song and hear it in it's entirety. I have been a devoted fan ever since.
