First tip-up of what will soon be a 55' bracketed tower with a Mosley TA-53M and a 2m/440 vertical installation. We stood up a 25 foot section in order to align it and to secure the home-brew base-plate. Now it's back to the shop to work on the mast, rotor assy, thrust bearing etc. A Glen Martin hazer will carry it all to the top, with the beam rotated 90 deg. to horizontal once the hazer clears the roof line, after which a heavy roof bracket will secure the tower with 28' free standing above the roof. 73, Jerry K1WTX/Bob W1LTX
