Cara- I'm not broken

My first full-length LotS video. Had to be Cara! She's the best ;) Specifically for the "just one episode says it all" contest.

Description:
All footage comes from Season 2, Episode 3 (Broken) of Legend of the Seeker. If you have never seen the show, basically what happens is Cara is put on trial for her past life, a life of vicious killing for the old dark ruler, Darken Rahl. Since the fall of Rahl, she has been with the good guys. During the trial, her only ally is Richard, who is determined to prove to the townspeople that Cara only did terrible things (like kill her father) because the Mord Sith can and will manipulate anyone. However, Cara makes this difficult for him because she refuses to give up her pride.....until the very end, where she faces death by Kahlan's hand.

I chose this episode because I think Cara is the most interesting person on the show and also the most entertaining :P This is one of my favorite episodes. I think it was beautifully shot and also simple enough so that anyone would understand it even without knowing the show.

The video is very straighforward. I didn't do any crazy effects (flashbacks are a different color, woo!) because I think the footage with the lyrics of this song are already very powerful.

wow this is amazing!! I wanted to make a video for this contest with the exact same episode but I didn't find the time - now I am glad I didn't because it wouldn't have been nearly as good as yours! I loved it!

an instrumental version of Numb by Linkin Park - maybe I'll make it some day - and I hope that there will be some more great episodes centering Cara!

This is so beautiful. It really send shivers down my spine. The combo of the music, video and text is so clear and sad, you really captured cara's sad history, how she became what she was. I feel like watching it all day<3
