The most pain lesson Mary seemed to learned was she is her brand. I'm sure she is going to be very careful of what imagery marketers associate with her brand because it is a direct reflection on her. I'm glad she learned from this one.

AND, there certainly wasn't any noise made when Steven Tyler was singing and blowing on his harmonica singing about the same product Mary was pitching. Like one poster on this video said before, we as blacks have more important and pressing issues to be upset and fussing about other that snack wraps.

I'm glad Mary finally had her say about this commercial that to me was blown WAYYYYY out of proportion. If black celebrities advertising in chicken commercials was such a no-no, where were some of these protesters at when Shanice Wilson (at age 9) sung with Ella Fitzgerald in a KFC ad back in 1982? Or, where were they when LaWanda Page (aka Aunt Esther) was a spokeswoman for Church's doing their commercials.
