@258laxdude in that sense aren't hockey goalies pussies for wearing padding when soccer goalies wear absolutely nothing? Box goalies need the padding because A - the net is shorter than they are so most of the shots are going towards their chest and legs rather than above their head, and B - there are more shots per game. If you want to hop into a between the bars of a box game with field gear on be my guest, but I assure you, you wouldn't like the outcome.
