You can remove the stuffing yourself, but it is easier for somebody to do it for you.

I also HIGHLY recommend you solder the little rings on the medal and crucifix. This way it will never come off. A soldering iron can be bought really cheap like 3.99 and the coil is cheap too... I got mine at frys electronics for 2.99.

Hi you can also use rosary cording used to make cord rosaries. I made one and they turn out really well. You can order the cording online at our lady's rosary makers.
