Proposals
We invite proposals for any topic connected to the conference theme.
We welcome either 20-minute individual presentations or 75-minute panels.
Conference participation can take a variety for forms, including the traditionally "read" paper; digital texts, such as audio or video projects; or a combination.
Additionally, we encourage you to think creatively about innovative forms of presenting scholarship, including multimedia installation or performance. Please contact us directly with your ideas or suggestions.
For individual presentations: Submit maximum 250 word proposal. Please include a title but no identifying information. On a cover sheet, include your name, address, phone, fax, email, and affiliation, together with a 25-word abstract of the presentation proposal.
For Panel, roundtable or other discussion format: submit 250-word proposal and a title for the panel, indicating the roles of presenters without identifying names. On a cover sheet, include the name, address, phone, email, and affiliation of each participant, together with a 25-word abstract of each participant's role or presentation in the panel/roundtable. Panels will be accepted or rejected as a whole.
Concurrent sessions are 75 minutes. Individual presenters are limited to 20 minutes, and all sessions should allow for at least 15 minutes of audience response.
Please include any particular technological needs you anticipate with your proposal.
