You're not completely right there. She actually doesn't care about the pain. According to the Vocaloid Wiki and entry in the Luka Megurine article...
"The song portrays Luka's true feelings of how she knew she would get hurt, yet couldn't help being in love. It also shows a slight bit of obsession as she wants to "rip and release" his throat saying that he will be all hers."
She is actually OBSESSED with the man she's singing about and can't help being in love, even though she would get hurt.
Wow, this is actually one of the better vocaloid songs I've heard that doesn't sound battered to hell with notes flustering all over. I rather enjoyed this one.
