why should he be sentenced to jail?
he doesn't do something illegal by working down to the ied on his own.. stupid yes but not illegal.. and it's not good for the team... but still it isn't illegal.. he's the fireteam or squadleader (I don't know how these EOD teams are structured ) so he makes the decisions waht to do... even if they're stupid... but thats army.. the rank doesn't says anything about you..

what really pisses me of about this film is that its fake, the way that the bomb technitian acts with his co - workers would actually in real life be sentenced to jail, not it pisses me off that they had to do that to such a great film that would have been beter without the fake-ness
