I've the same tablet, rubber black exterior, bigger batteries, 3-rectangular buttons, 4Gb Class4 mmicroSD, BENa 8396 and true 2Mp camera BUT with resistive touchscreen :D

@rikarditow I have not built a custom ROM for the MID816R2 yet. Currently we don't have a confirmed path to ROOT it... you could always try z4root.
