  • Hold on a second there. This guy plays orquesta style like Chocolate, Cuchi, Catarey, etc... Tipico is one style and this is another. Tipico is a soloist style, and that's why they do more rolls and show off more. But orquesta players play cleaner. So we can't criticize this guy, cuz he's good.

  • @DerwinRodriguez this guy.... Oro Solido done released CLASSICS!! thats like saying who still listens to al green or marvin gaye

  • @milkman4eva i probably met way more singers an groups than you have,....an who listens to oro solido now an days?...an if u was playin on dat tour you act like your something huge!, cuz in da end, you will just only be a musician,....

  • @DerwinRodriguez I still get calls to play Tambora, Guira, Congas, and Bongo. As a matter of fact, I was asked to tour for Oro Solido in May, and Play for La Makina a few weeks ago in California. My friend, La Peligosa Tambora, still plays for Maria Diaz when she comes here. I can say way more like I did in other comments, but I'll leave it a that. Take a look at my other comments to read my history. Oh, I forgot, you mention Luis Vargas, I met La Zaeta. And he lives where I'm from now.

  • @DerwinRodriguez I saw you posted something directed at me and then erased it. Take a look at two comments that I put about musicians that I know and played with. BTW, my mom is from Gaspar Hernandez and my father is from Rio San Juan close to Nagua. So that thing about "we Dominicans", well, so am I. And when I talk, it's from experience of who I know and played with. I'm retired from percussion and now only play guitar.
