Just so EVERYONE is clear, Joe Paterno got Joe Paterno fired. McQueary would complacent but so was Paterno. They BOTH need to be fired.
-
@MrFaisel34 McQueary is guilty in the same way as Paterno. Both men had a responsibility to pursue this until justice was done. McQueary exceeds Paterno's guilt, however, because he failed to stop the crime while witnessing it.

@mrdeansden they will swear up and down in the end that joe paterno actually raped the little boy in the shower not JERRY SANDUSKY if you all forget who really did thhe crime then what the fuck is the point of even caring about children's lives then!!!!

@mrdeansden sean your absolutely right i have it in this case as well. Say your a women at a office job and some guy comes up and grabs your ass is the first thing you do call the cops and tell them he sexually harassed you? i think even if your trying to say you would we both know you wouldn't do that first, the first thought is i have to TELL MY BOSS ABOUT THIS, and thats exactly what jo pa did in death everyone will damn his name and i bet after a while they will think and remember it as he,

@AnneLiesveld I am pleased someone followed my line of reasoning. Most people just disagree with my observations.
-
@mrdeansden I agree with that and yet I think about how I see everyone say "If I was in that position......" like a hypothetical situation and yet for the life of me I can't imagine what it would be like to be a young asssistant and to walk in on a lower level boss who you respected and know that they were doing something and have to recognize that you are seeing it in a bad way and report it to your higher boss. or worse police. You have to realize that MM this isn't a hypothetical.

@mrdeansden Part of me thinks that way too when I think about MM seeing JS doings things like he was alledged to have done. I get that puts kids in a vulnerable place, but at the best it puts MM in a horrible place as well. He was probably very aware of JS and JP relationship so at best he was in a horrid position with respect to knowing he was doing things. I am guessing the yuckiness of it all eats at him.

@JakeandElwoodBlues He isn't taking messages any longer. I really do hope the man found the peace he seemed to have those last few months. This video was not a criticism of Joe Paterno. You can put fault on McQueary or fault on the University heads but Joe, in either case, but just sort of caught in the middle. Yes, he could have done more but McQueary had a more immediate chance to do something and the university head had an actual responsibility to do something. Joe followed the rules.
