Saturday, March 21, 2009 - I spent my second day in Australia going on an "off the beaten path" tour (led by area local Chris Kim) of the nearby suburbs known for their ethnic groups or architecture, first stopping in the immigrant community of Auburn, then going over to Parramatta, taking a bus through the Dundas Valley area to Epping, and riding the newest CityRail line to Chatswood. After that, we rode on the CityRail train over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and back to the Sydney CBD where we saw some interesting examples of adaptive re-use: an old post office turned into an upscale mall and a former customs house turned into a public library branch.

All of the music included in these videos contains music heard while on my trip.

In order:
Koolism - "Jam Hot"

Micachu and the Shapes - "Golden Phone"

Empire of the Sun - "Walking on a Dream"
