Friendly Bus Stop Action

Purpose: To establish a comfort zones within the bus stations of San Diego
The reason for the decision is create a acceptable environment for those who ride the city bus.

Proposed selection process:
Director Larry Caveney selected five bus stations throughout San Diego and decorates each station with red curtains. 5 performers will be dressed as waiters and will serve those citizens that use the bus system in terms of telling jokes, serving cookies (fortune cookies (more than a cookie; a cookie with a message) and juice boxes.
Proposed Reason:
Citizens that use the bus are looked down on; because of not using or having an auto. Its our hope that this action will bring a more positive environment to those suppressed settings.

Outcome:

Citizens enjoyed the interaction (some thought we were selling or part of a religious group), as we were there for 8 hours total and actually saw and welcome some of the transients back from their trip. We were not interrupted by any authorities.
