An FBI man with Sioux background is sent to a reservation to help with a murder investigation, where he has to come to terms with his heritage. Slowly he rejects the intimidating tactics of his fellow FBI agents, who are not so interested in solving the crime as covering up an incriminating situation with the locals, and as he becomes more tuned to his heritage, the locals begin trusting him. Based on actual Reservation occurrences of the '70s.

  • I remember seeing this in the theaters back in 1992. This was such a sweet movie and I'm not just saying that because my dad's from Pine Ridge or it had some of my favorite actors. It had a good plotline with many twists.

  • yes, THANK YOU for posting this! I was surprised it was not posted earlier- This movie has soo many messages-- especially now a days when people are soo materialistic, without interest in spiritual things -- a spiritual message is SUCH a relief! Get those messages out into the world!
