  • Hi, can you do a series like this for the T1i/500d please?

  • @zacharney1 Hi, I'm working on the T2i, but I've been pretty busy so I don't know when that will be done. Since the T3i was recently introduced, I don't think I'll be able to do the T1i, though the basics are very similar.

  • Holding the camera gently won't work good enough. Get a remote control for this kind of shots, they worth every 20€ of it! ;)

  • @ramidak0s Thanks for the comment. I completely agree, the remote control is the ideal way to go. No matter how steady one's hands are, it will never be like not touching the camera. Although, I have gotten some pretty cool effects when hand holding a one second exposure while on a boat. The light trails become very squiggly.

  • In this video are you using the kit lens?

  • @ItsJulieee Hi, with all the XSi videos, I use a 28-135IS lens. Unfortunately it's all I had at the time, but with future videos I'll be use kit lenses.

  • Cheers , Thank you :)

  • Good dya, do you have a video for taken lightning pictures? very good videos by the way

  • @Nealntm1 Hi, with any lens that doesn't have an infinity setting, I would look through the view finder and try to manually focus as best I can. Even though a lens may not have the infinity symbol on it, the idea remains the same. Since you're using a small aperture setting, you should be fine with the manual focus set to the farthest distance setting possible. As for a flash, check out the Promaster 5250DX at about $80 or a used Canon Speedlite. Thanks for the comment, I hope that helps.
