  • Take your bull and walk in the wood with 30 guys with automatic guns. ESAD.

  • I don't think you were ever even in the service "82abnoff" . I don't think i have ever met a real vet that refered to a rifle as "automatic guns" please go back to the sandbox with your plastic army guys

  • My Cousin was a T Sgt and his bomber was shot down over italy and he died of wounds. Its a shame it really is the US Air force lost alot of bombers over Italy and Germany.

  • wehategod:just to clarify it was the"US Army Air Corp" not "US Airforce" until 1947

and yes this makes a differance when talking to a WW2 vet

  • Thanks for this, but where is the basic info on who this is, his Bomb Group etc.? I'll bet he was flying next to my Dad out of Pantanella in Italy....

  • @saverhistory classy

  • Im gradually going through these interviews and loving everyone of them. Dont think people realise how important these interviews on here are. Whoever is making these, keep on doing so please :D I met some vet's on week 4 of my basic training (RAMC medic) when we went to ww1 graves in belgium. 3 were British, one was Canadian and the other 2were American. Great experience and great guys everyone of them, could listen to them for hours. Cheers for the posting mate.

  • i know a guy who was in the same bomb group same plane to he was also a gunner shot down 4 times ouch

  • nice video.

  • That's the truth!

My dad was a B24 navigator, a lieutenant, and he always made a point of saying that he had been in the "Army Air Forces," because it meant he'd served during "the Big One."

I so regret not getting his stories on tape.

    Good job.
