Tedious, funny but still KRO so o.k. Not a fan of UB40 anyway but they always remind me of Brum.

@acovag4127 Let him know it's "often partisan" and not "off to Partizan." Thx.

This song is by a Birmingham man called Stephen Blakemore, nothing to do with ub40. Funnily enough I was talking to him the other day.

@toprow .any reggae version of KRO is good in my book,UB40 are only a trojan tribute band anyway.

This is a UB40 Tribute Band not Ali Campbell this has been floating arround the Blues message boards for at least two years. The Campbell's announced some time ago they have never done a version of KRO, if they had it would have been much much better than this effort....Nice try but no where near the real thing.

Not sure! I've had this copy for at least four years now and was assured that it was genuine. Sounds like Ali to me! Maybe he's trying to distance himself from it as it's erm, well, not great!

I think it was a half hearted attempt really and a bit cheesy in parts but always felt they should have recorded a quality version for the play off or League Cup finals.
I don't think the whole band were involved.

I love the Blues I really do. But this is absolutely dreadful. The harmonies at 0:47 and 1:00 and every other "often partisan" section don't match the chords and are way out of tune. There are lot's of examples of wrong chords throughout, and the whole reggae thing is wrong for the best battle hymn in football. My guess is that the YooBees did this when they were quite young and it was thrown together quickly.

I don't think they would have been young when they did this as they were amazing in the early days and would never have recorded anything as bad in those days. They could have done a great version if they had spent more time on it.
