The background options in C-F have given us multiple semi-transparent wallpapers without icons for a while now, and of course "Wallpaper" has given us multiple opaque wallpapers with icons. Through some simple modifications, I have enabled alpha blending in Wallpaper. It's still got some bugs (with depth rendering specifically), but it works nicely.
i have the wall paper plugin on cimpiz on ubuntu 9.04
i dont have any options under the list of pictures.... how did you do penguin with the edges see through?
any way you could give tutorial? i really like that! i think thats by far the most interesting thing iv seen linux handle
