Absolutely LOVELY! I am happy to have heard this mix of the Master himself. I now feel confident that the mix we have (Django would Go! by Hot Club of Hulaville) is worthy of carrying the eternal flame! May this music live on FOREVER!! Mahalo Duane for sending me this clip.....

I do believe this was in New Orleans, Louisiana. Sometime in the early to mid '80's. Thank you PBS! I had this on a Beta max tape and then VHS tape and wore them both out. Wow.... what an incredible display of musicianship and virtuosity. I sobbed uncontrollably when I heard of the passing of Stephane Grappeli on NPR years ago. There will never be another one like him!
