The reason this will all be gone soon is because it's created artificially. Where is the surrounding sand structure to give and take from when storms hit for the next 100 years? I say this will all be gone within 15 years. It's like going a mile out into the ocean and dropping a bunch of sand in one spot to create an island. The waves and lack of sub-structure (sand) will force wave and wind driven sand to quickly return to the surrounding deeper ocean. Make pole houses, they'll last longer.
