Also, you missed a switch in the corridor with the long line of trapdoors, it's on the right about two trapdors in, if you flick that as you pass then a door opens up on the right that brings you out into the room facing the floor switch that you throw the knife onto to open the grate, same result but a little easier. I still havent found out how that door in the level below opens though

Love this little section, the four different puzzles are really cool :), took me ages to figure ourt where the scrolls all went though
