Aliens vs Predator DEMO :: Predator Commentary/Tips and Tricks :: Part 1

Hey guys svm here with the tips and tricks video for Aliens Vs Predator. This will be part 1 for the Predator. Please be reminded that this is a DEMO version in the game and some things may be altered in the final product.


As I said before these videos wont cover melee attacks and stealth kills so heres a informitive video for beginners.

In this gameplay I try go over some tips and such for the predator. I play sort of aggressively and have my ups and downs kill wise because of this. Part 2 I get a better feel for the game and start doing a bit better. I do recommend using the trip mines though. Depending on what type of player you are theres always stealthy or aggressive. I find doing the right mix of both helps. Not so much camping a room is being stealthy. Its more so just moving around constantly "without being seen". With that being said enjoy and expect part 2 shortly!

After the full game is released I plan on doing more detailed videos, thus being a proper tutorial. Take these as more of a commentary of gameplay with tips and tricks. Thanks.

You can't reverse getting grabbed from the back and even from the front I don't know a true way to always shake them off. I usually just press the general amount of buttons and it shakes em off...

Plus Aliens vs Predators isn't the most hardcore balanced game out there. It has its moments of stupidity just like any other game.

Indeed. I usually dont use them unless I'm at half health and this is after I started using them more often now lol.

It depends on what platform your on. The 360 has you using the Directional Pad and I believe Ps3 does something similar. The PC version has buttons for each of the preds weapons. Do remember you have to find the predators weapons on each map before use as well.

For me since I'm using 360 I hold down the left trigger and look around till I can find a spot to jump at. Then I press 'A'. Basiclly just hold down the focus mode button (depending on your console just go to the controls options) and press the jump button when you are ready to jump to that spot.

Well first off you cannot ever break out of a grab from the back. However when they grab you from the front, you have to have more then 1/4 your health, and usually I just press all the buttons on my 360 mainly because to my knowledge there is no specific button.

is there a way to stay invisible on the motion tracker? so does it works if you stand still that you cannot be tracked by it ?

0.O wats dat supose to mean? depending on helth status. wat, if u haff low health ull fight? well,onece, i pulled off a epic stunt. i was a predator. a alien hoped onto my face. he growls, and my predator jus need him in the face. i coulda sworn i herd him say ow my lip!! uh-huh. he died. ow rite? im awsume i know. >:)

@TheMultigigabowser u cnt but if they do hvy attack infront of u and grab u will automatically fight back. (Depending on health status)

@svm2 its automatic, the back is irreversable but from the front the only way to shake them off is to have a little bit of health left. if you do. you'll free yourself. if your health is gone, your dead. :) i like this game..so i know quite a bit bout it.
