Bonisolli singing "Di quella pira" at the Beniamino Gigli Tribute Concert.
I like it how he argues with the conductor over the encore, and how he does that jump as he leaves the stage.
He's mad , I tell you :)

He might have been as crazy as it gets, but I wish we could have more of these crazy tenors with this kind of excitment and ability to nail these kinds of arias these days. He had high notes (high "Cs" include) to spare and to thrill audiences.

Is that actually a C (for all it matters)? Sounds like a B (even a A#) to me.

No one can sing like him, this difficult aria, the best of best. Bravo!!!

Why mad? He loves what he is doing. Everybody who brings Di Quella Pira to a good end is a hero to me, and he is one of them. Opera in the best tradition: both for the elite and for the crowd, like it was in those days

@suchero va beh,sono due tenori diversi,per quanto Domingo non aveva gli acuti di Bonisolli,ma il timbro era bellissimo e anche la linea del canto era eccellente!pero' sono d'accordo che Bonisolli meritava molto di piu',come anche V.Luchetti!

@lamusicahera you don'T know anything about technique you should take a look at a tenor di grazia like araiza or the current tenor named "michael spyres",
I know that big voice can only be good in good rooms, I already sang in operas.sorry
