It's been a year since we had to leave our comfy production facilities at EdLab. One year of producing in Gus's apartment. MacGyvering our tripods and monitors. Keeping the cats off the "set." Coping with neighbors who think we like their music as much as they do.

We've learned a lot about what works and what doesn't work in this small space. We're still just as able to do two-puppet setups and interviews as we used to be. But when it comes to big episodes, with more puppets or unusual rigs like the spam spider, we can't do what we're used to.

That's why we've just launched a Kickstarter fundraising campaign, to produce The Media Show's next three big episodes.

@cutefoxie I hear you on the lip syncing! It really is hard. My tip is to watch old Muppet Shows/Sesame Street, & see what they do. And yeah, there's no substitute for practice. We'd love to see your puppets do a video responding to one of our videos!

I'm still trying to figure out how to offer an option for people to get characters on the show... the thing is how much would it cost? Too cheap = everyone wants it = we're flooded with puppets. Too expensive = nobody can afford it. What to do?

@themediashow Yes!I would be intreasted!Matter fact.I have some puppets to!I collect them!I love puppets!I have tryed to do a video,but I need more practice.Like on lip snynxing.Even talking right.Like one of my fox puppets is supposed to be from Texas.Its hard to get the accent just right.
