Luka, Morgan Jumper

This was at Starr Vaughn Equestrian Center in Elk Grove CA on June 14th 2008. Luka & I weren't quite in synch this day, but we had fun & I learned a few things. We moved up to jumping 3' at this show, the video is part of a "jumper equitation" round. Luka is a 6 yr. Morgan Horse gelding.

Morgans are amazing. He's such a cute little jumper.

stokes885: The morgan breed is known for their versatility. So whatever discipline you do ride, there's a morgan out there that does it, you just gotta find him. I definately would recommend getting a morgan cause I'm one of those morgan freaks and have morgans myself :D

@stokes885 Depends on what you want to do. I had a college friend who was obsessed with them. There were a lot of morgan farms in that area and mostly I saw them used for Saddleseat, Western Pleasure, and Driving. They make good trail horses too. Temperaments varied from some really sweet individuals to a few nutcases, just like any other breed. If you just want the breed they're fine, but for a specific discipline do your research. They may work with your goals, they may not. Know what you want
