@st3fanunited Third, do you know how good are the 4 sides that get behind Real and Barça? Athletico, Valencia, Sevilla and Villareal. Are those poor sides? They are top sides just as much as the ones that get behind United and Chelsea, maybe not as good as Arsenal though.

First you don't watch the spanish league, so at least try to find some statistic data, like how many points does a mid table team have in both competitions, amount of points in the relegation zone, etc.. you'll find they are pretty similar. Success in european competitions is another indicator.

Second who are the 6 or 7 "top" sides in England? Honestly i can only count 2, 4 at best.
