  • they need directors like this guy to do these sort of films today. such a shame how many potentially great fantasy films turn out so bad

  • @liamjiang I think it may even be studio execs to force the filmakers to go for CGI overload. There are waaay to many uninspired modern fantasy films to be a coincidence. But 300 at least had the whole classic vibe in it's dialogue and Peter Jackson decided to do his LOTR masterpiece outside of Hollywood. I'm still hoping someone does justice to these movies, so far no luck (maybe Wrath of the Titans will work, maybe).

  • Who needs CGI crap, when there is Ray harryhausen. He is the BEST!

  • @Beatlesfanize AMEN Bro!

  • Harryhausen rocks. The Kali fight scene is way cool.

  • @dragoons9009 looking at the crew sinbad has it seems he's the only respectable fighting the bunch everyone else gets wounded he dont get a strach

  • The Minotaurus has Justin Bieber Hair xDDD

  • Kali's motions in the Kali fight was pure beauty. It's the high point of the movie.

(In the background where the evil magician was standing the circular structure looked like the star gate)

  • @Beatlesfanize CGI is overused in movies today. They should use the best of the old and the best of the new, now.

  • I wish I could have that statue god in front of my house. It would be better than any burglar alarm.

  • @NithunNag Sorry but that's incorrect. It's the Goddess Kali stood in the Shiv-Natraj position when the magician arrives. Check out a female figure & not male.

BTW It was the father of my friend, John Mayer, who provided the music for the Kali dance sequence.

  • SINBAD was so confident til 2:12

  • @stickyjoe131

This particular Sinbad movie is from the seventies... Harryhausen's effects are more advanced, and just as thrilling...As a kid, I could remember always wanting more special effects...they are, after all, what makes the movie...I mean, I knew the plot, I just didn't care about it.
