Wow, nice rationalization but you missed a few things. Obama didn't just suggest people inflate their tires well to help personally, he made the absolutely absurd claim that pumping up your tires would save all the oil considered for drilling, "just as much." Facts are stubborn things.

but it would. the offshore drilling outside florida would decrease gas prices with almost 2 cents per gallon, but it wouldnt happen before 20 years.

if people had idealy inflated tires it would reduce gas consumption with 5%.

20 years? Hardly. Get a good drilling crew and you can hit oul in less than a year. However, you make the same argument most liberals do, "One well won't make a difference." Well, the point is you need to drill in many places and often. Conservation won't solve energy need, you must increase supple for that unless bothe your population and standard of living are decreasing.

Of course Obama wants our standard of living to decrease.

its not a fact that obama would want your standard of living to decrease. why would you even think that? HOW did you come up with a genious idea that obama has a plan to decrease people´s standard of living? I was going to continue to debate about your energy arguments, but that last sentence you put... well, im not spending more time arguing with you. you´re either brainwashed or a complete idiot.

how does he want out stsandard of living to decrease? Lets see, makinbg people buy more health insurance than they want or need or else pay a fine; saying he wants to bankrupt coal mines and power plants; an energy bill that will raise your utility bill $100-300 per month; he wants to raise taxes; this is where I get the idea. He is a European-style socialist plain and simple. We could use Bush back. Hopefully we can elect Newt in 2012.

When I saw this before the election I thought he was saying that we should inflate our tires. It turns out what he really meant was, I am going to cause inflation in the economy through my fiscal policies.
Of course he didn't want to tell you that during the campaign because that would be too transparent. So instead of a tire inflator we have a liar about inflation.
