@hijiledwag mine isnt getting overweight and ive been feeding him mediums for about 2 months now hes just got longer and gained more muscle, still has nice muscle definition and all that and there is no scale seperation when i feed him anymore so ya...

@tylerwalker2 males rarely get to 8 foot and medium rats are too big IMO for hid size. Boas grow much slower than pythons so if they are overfed they become overweight extremely quickly. If you want a snake that you can slam food into get a python. I just got a male retic today and i dont doubt that he will be at least 7 foot by this time next year.

is when my mother was holding her and i guess she was crapping and she had her finger in direct striking site. so she bit her in the finger. but other then that she has never bitten me at all. i have been bit by my 7 foot male i still have the mark from 3 months ago till this day so i don't think i want to be bit again.
owe by the way i am getting a true coloubian red tail boa female this week wensday around 10:30 in the morning. she is being shipped all the way from florida to my state.

but she takes anything you put in her face. if i would let her she would eat all day i don't think when she gets 10 feet i will have a problem feeding her rabbits because she will take anything she is like my garabage disposel when my male don't eat his rat and when it is feeding day for my snake's i just give the rat to my female and she snagg's it up quickly. she will either take prekilled or frozen or live she has always been a docile snake every sense i got her she has only bitten one time
Damn, I wanna have a snake like that some day, so tame, so beautiful, so big!

5*s Beautiful Boa and big boas are great to work with and people really should do research before buying ANY snake. My two ten footers are amazing and it does take extra work and energy and effort but it's so rewarding to watch their progress.
