I think she didn't understand your accent. She probably thought you wanted the hotel computer, cuz she didnt understand that your 'laptop' and the word 'computer' is one and the same thing.. im not even sure whether she understood that your computer was actually a computer.. :-/

i think that two reasons are possible at least one a fear of failure that freezes her mind so she does the very things she is afraid of doing and people in some countries are hired politically.

OOOOO... I have one... okay, so 2 years ago, I went to Winston-Salem (NC) to sing in a All-State chorus ensemble, and me and my mom stayed at a Marriot. We checked in, and went to the room, and I laid my binder containing my music on the bed, along with the TV remote. So we went back downstairs to the car for like 3 minutes, and came back and my book was gone! So we reported it, and... yeah... haven't seen my music since... or the binder...
