The sound is more full and resonating. But the finger is a bit harsh on the strings which is giving out a beating noice. Otherwise the playing is nice.

The Veena is of the socalled 'Srasvati Veena' type. It is made in Thanjavur (or Tanjore) by traditional makers of the instument with selected types of wood. It is available in a few musical instruments shops of Chennai, Bangalore, etc.
