Bikeability: Research in bicycle behaviour

The bikeability projects is carried out by University of Copenhagen, University of Aalborg, Universeity of Southern Denmark (all of Denmark), the technical Univesity of Delft (Holland), the Danish Cancer society and the Danish Cycle Federation.
The project investigates, analyzes and models cycling behaviour and -motivation. A number of data collection- and analysis methods are taken in use, ranging from GIS based modelling and agent based simulation, over national surveys, to case studies and qualitative approaches based on interviews and logbooks.
The project is financed by the Danish Research Council for Strategic Research (grant 07-067197)
