Archery Bull Elk wallow and shots

A video shot of my 6x7 Bull Elk I shot with my bow. This was my first Bull. It was the sixth day and only had a couple more days to hunt. The first day I passed up a much bigger Bull that I called in because I wanted something 340" or bettter, but my main goal was to get it on video. The first bull was pushing 320" but couldn't get on video and was not big enough so I passed. I did call in a Bull pushing 400" but couldn't get to my range finder at the time and was not confident on the yardage so I had to let him walk. That was a very tough decison, but the right one. I shot this Bull twice, I beleive the yardages were, 1st 47 yards and 2nd 52 yards. This was further than I wanted but as close as I could get without being too close.

This is actually an AZ hunt and YES you do have to draw a tag and maybe years (at best) before you can draw a tag

I shot it again to speed up the inevitable. He was going down but not fast enough for me unfortunately.

After the second shot he didn't make it more than 30 yards or so.

I personally would not have taken the shot when he was laying down but it worked for you............well done.
