This was my first foray into PyMOL movies. I used PyMOL to generate the movie frames and ffmpeg to construct the movie.

Shown in ray-traced, cross-eyed stereo, is a structure of Human Tear Lipocalin (pdb: 3EYC). I'm working with this protein for my doctoral project and thought I'd start learning PyMOL movie functions to aid my future presentations. Also it's a lot of damn fun and very satisfying to exmine the structures in 3 dimensions!

  • I really love it! I want to figure out how to make the movies in stereo pairs like this.
