Because she was innocent. She never was part of the Zabi's crimes and atrocities, so Char wants to make sure that she doesn't grow up and become them.

Yes, however, you are forgetting that Garma was basically collateral damage in the big scheme of Char's revenge, as Char was going after all of Degwin's children. Besides, I think Char sees Mineva as another kick to Degwin Zabi, since he wants to turn her into someone who will reject the Zabi families ideals.

Am I the only one that thinks Jamitov bears a passing resemblance to Mr. Burns from The Simpsons? Something about him just makes me picture him tenting his fingers and saying "excellent" to himself, heh.

Hmmm i like the new animations but they're so random, it's very jarring & noticible when they switch back & forth, really should have just reanimated the entire thing

@Superhero18 ACTUALLY, Char dumped her because he didn't agree with her methods of leading Zeon and her ideologies. She sent Char to Earth as a scout and that;s when Char realized what Haman truly believes in and dumped her and became "Four Vaginas" to fight the Titans with AEUG.

@justinean Thing is, they actually did. Before watching ZG , read the manga(sadly, as far as I know it's unfortunately manga) Char's hidden affair. At the time, 14 year old Lady Haman-Sama's new type powers were devloping, and they attracted her to Char, unfortunately Char only paid her lip service, never truly loved her and then dumped her. Which is partly why she became the badass she is today, that and she's extremely nationalistic. She's like the female version of Gihren Zabi

She and Char should have hooked up, that would have been like badassery x 2

@supervaderz i'm just say'n, should've gone with one or the other, it's too disorienting seeing it go from the obvious 80's animation to the modern animation, the modern animation tends to make the 80's ones stick out like a sore thumb

and if hollywood has it's way, the cycle will most definetly go one forever lol (but that's a diff subject i suppose)

But I think they have a fair enough reason to not re-animate the whole thing, since it would cost a lot with the technology nowadays, and then when we look at the re-animated version again after 20-30 years, it would look bad again, so are they gonna re-animate it again? when would the cycle end?

I dont care what people think of these movies. I enjoyed them as much as I did the series. Fanboys appreciate them for what they are: an alternative Zeta take

Scirocco doesn't do a damn good thing in his life besides kill Jamitov. Even then, he didn't do it for a good cause, but to take control of the Titans.

And Haman still does bad things, even if she has done a few good ones and is sympathetic.

The Scirocco and Haman you seem to be refering to don't exist in this show.

We already have enough ego maniacal, manipulative sociopaths in our world. No matter how badass Haman or Scirocco, it doesn't change the fact that they aren't good people, and do very questionable things.
