Can't really call this a save since I was only going 5 over PSL, but notice he keeps shooting me until I turn on the Blinder M25 about 3 seconds after I get the laser alert on the V1 and Blinder.

Police work is no longer about protecting and serving the community, it's a business! I'm just guessing, but I think business is gooood.

The law is so flexible that it actually allows you to go 5 over the PSL, unless your in a school zone. But anyone who speed in a School zone should get a hefty fine for doing that there.

Speeding tickets are all about revenue generation and nothing else. Several studies recently have stated that speed have no correlation to safety. They have proeven that talking on a cell phone while driving is as bad as driving under the influence. If they were really worried about safety they would ban cell phone use while driving.

as a family member of a GCPD officer. I think you are wrong. This is there job, just as you have a job only a lot more dangerous. You should be happy they are there protecting all of the public instead of looking for reasons to complain about them.

If you think I am complaining about the work these fine people do I apologize. Not meant that way. I have the utmost respect for all Law Officers and appreciate the job they do.
I was just responding to why I call it a speed trap. If it was not about the money have them remove the fines, only apply points against license, suspend licenses for speeding and see how much enforcement is applied to speeding. Little if any at that point. I don't have a problem with it just be honest about it.

I did see him, but in my mind when their only purpose is to generate revenue, it's a speed trap. Speed enforcement is not about public safety, it's only about generating $ for the local government. Every study out there has concluded that speeding does not contribute to accidents and even the Federal Reserve study concludes it's about revenue.

Actually in GA the locals have to give you 10 to cite you using laser or radar.
