Today, July 27th 2009, we found a camera on the streets, turns out this one belongs to our local police.. They told us to wait over 5 hours, then we will be contacted IF they can pick up the camera TODAY.. This would give anybody the chance to ABUSE the data that is in there.. But they don't seem too worried..

I will keep you people updated on this..

Is this is the way they should treat this kind of personal information?

  • Ofcourse the police didn't call our house but decided to drop by when they wanted..

At that moment I was in the city, and did not have the chance to get it on tape... :(

  • You mean to tell me that the cops don't upload the pics at the end of their shift to the station PC ! and then delete the old ones from the cam !

  • Heheh that's also very much possible, and guess what.. They should have called me 2.5 hours ago...

But they did not call me..

They don't want to have their camera back, they probably don't find these pictures/evidence worthy of picking up?

    that's just really really sad...

  • spannend

  • :P altijd leuk even kijken hoe ze gaan reageren..

Als ze hier bij m'n huis aankomen dan komen ze op video te staan..

  • Very Odd they did not tell you to bring it right in yourself. I guess they figured there was nothing of value on it or else they did not realize it was missing. How does a officer misplace a camera anyway? I never heard of such a thing. Very sloppy policing if you ask me. It really could have been all over the Net by now. But mark my words they would track you down quite quickly. They can see everything we do all the time if they should choose to do so. Seen it done myself. Interesting video.

  • It contained pictures of cars.. A person who had broken their hand from a fist fight probably.. Some person who fell flat on the face while driving a scooter, and more unpleasant things..

And yeah I know they can track about everything.. And I don't want to abuse these kind of things, don't want to end up at the police station myself.. :)

Later this day if they drop by our house, I will try and see if I can get an answer from the officers on film. :)
